In celebration of Giving Tuesday I gathered a list of some of my favorite companies that provide for others based on your purchases. Click through to find gifts for everyone on your list or a treat for yourself and give back at the same time.
This year Target and TOMS have partnered to offer shoes, clothing, and gift items. “For every Target + TOMS gift you buy, we’re giving shoes, a blanket, or meals to those in need.” I purchased cute shoes and a tote bag for myself and Target + TOMS will be providing one pair of shoes to a child and a full week of meals for someone in need.
I saw Owen & Abi skirts on instagram, perfect for little girls on your gift list. Katy sends one handmade skirt to you and donates another new handmade skirt to The Northwest Children’s Outreach in Portland, Oregon.
West Elm has glass paperweights that benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I think the bird is my favorite, although the knot and owl are great too. West Elm has also partnered with FEED to offer special edition dishes and kitchen accessories.
Disney plush animals and books are available at Kohl’s with proceeds funding the Kohl’s Cares program which supports health and education initiatives for children in local communities.
I’m sure you are familiar with FEED bags and their mission to provide meals and support nutrition programs worldwide. Did you know they have nearly 100 different bags, t-shirts, and bracelets in addition to the original FEED 1 bag? Check out their gift guide for some great ideas.
