I am not a morning person, anyone who knows me can confirm this! On days when I must wake up before 8 I am in too much of a rush for breakfast. I do love pancakes, waffles, crepes, eggs benedict with hashbrowns, but I think these meals are more suitable for a lazy weekend brunch when I can relax and enjoy my food.
During the week I prefer having juice for breakfast. I currently have a 5 pound bag of organic carrots and 2 pounds of organic apples, so I have been enjoying carrot apple juice for breakfast this week.
- 4 large carrots
- 1 medium apple
- Wash carrots and apple
- Slice off carrot tops and tips
- Cut apple (if necessary to fit in juicer)
